The latest craze: Yogurt Protein Bowl! Combine Greek yogurt with your favorite protein powder to create a high-protein, flavorful treat that’s perfect for snacks, dessert or post-workout recovery.

5 Reasons to eat more yogurt protein bowls
I’ve been mixing different flavored protein powders into plain Greek yogurt and I love the results. Yogurt protein bowls are simple, tasty, and versatile. Here are five reasons I keep making them:
- Quick flavor test: Mixing protein powder into yogurt is the fastest way to know whether you enjoy a powder’s taste and texture — without committing to a full shake or recipe.
- High protein, minimal fuss: This particular bowl (with a half scoop of protein powder) delivers about 28 grams of protein, making it an easy option to meet daily protein goals.
- Great post-workout option: The combination of protein and carbohydrates helps support muscle recovery and re-fueling after exercise.
- No blender required: Compared with many smoothies or shakes, yogurt bowls take seconds to prepare.
- Tastes like dessert: When you top it with fruit, crumbs, or a bit of whipped cream, it feels indulgent while still being packed with protein.
Of course, a yogurt protein bowl can be as simple as stirring protein powder into Greek yogurt. I like to dress mine up for texture and presentation — this blueberry cheesecake version quickly became a favorite.
For this blueberry flavored yogurt protein bowl, I used:
- 2/3 cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt (about 170 grams)
- 1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder (or your preferred flavor)
- 1 tablespoon sugar-free cheesecake pudding mix (optional, but adds creaminess)
- 50 grams blueberries
- 1 tablespoon crushed graham crackers
- Whipped cream spray (optional)

I’ll be sharing more yogurt protein bowl combinations over the coming months. This blueberry cheesecake variation was the one that inspired the others — it balances bright fruit with a creamy, cheesecake-like base.

Yogurt protein bowls are an easy, nutritious addition to a balanced diet and can help you reach your protein targets without extra meal prep. If you try this blueberry cheesecake version, adjust the ingredients to suit your tastes — swap the fruit, change the protein flavor, or skip the pudding mix for a simpler bowl.
